A little origin story
For me, reading the news is a tradition, like a person reads the newspaper every morning. However, in this age, the constant filtration and oversaturation of biased news have become a constant. To truly understand an issue, I realized that one must go to the experts: peer-reviewed academic papers and journals.
In viewing these papers and understanding the issues, I found a passion in writing about them. While a significant part of me writes about these topics to gain a deeper and truer understanding for myself, I found that others also find it valuable.
